About Claudia Gabel
Claudia is the author of the upcoming contemporary Middle Grade book Paradise, to be released by Holiday House on October 27, 2026, and a sequel that will publish in Winter 2018. She also wrote the paranormal romance Young Adult novel Romeo & Juliet & Vampires, as well as cowrote two sci-fi YA novels—Elusion and Etherworld—with Cheryl Klam. Her debut YA series In or Out was published by Scholastic and was a book club favorite.
While Claudia loves to write, she is also a passionate collaborator and prolific IP creator who has conceived hundreds of ideas that have been transformed into books for young readers. She is currently the CEO and founder of Twenty Story Studio, a packaging company that develops book concepts, joins forces with writers to bring them to life, and sells them to publishers. For over two decades, she worked as an editorial director and senior executive editor at several Big 5 companies like HarperCollins and Penguin Random House.
Claudia lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, daughter, and mini labradoodle.
